Good source for hard to find quality fasteners

Easy to order and shipping was reasonable and quick. Wide selection but I was needing some sizes in black that were unavailable. I still recommend them, and in fact I placed another order for others screws.

Nice, hard to find screws.

I needed #4x3/8” slotted oval head brass screws for restoring the old antique doorknob rosettes in my home. Couldn't find them anywhere locally, so I ordered them from these guys and got them quick! Good quality, reasonable shipping. I also ordered one of their ****/bolt gauge tools as well.

Most frequently used gauge.

I received one of these gauges over 40 years ago from Mechanics Choice Products who supplied our semiconductor inventory parts. I use this device on every single project I pursue. Anything to do with screws then this item is fantastic. I researched where to get another one on the internet and found it right away, which surprised me. It is also Made in America which I love. I was all ready to order a backup when I thought to myself, if the one I have lasted close to half a century then there should be no reason for me to buy one now before I die.

Standard Screw Gauge

This tool gets five stars. If you are a normal guy, you have one or more unlabeled jars or cans of screws in your shop, not to mention that sooner or later you will encounter a mystery screw that needs to be replaced. While this gauge will not give you the thread pitch for machine screws, it will give the size and length and it is particularly useful for sizing wood screws. I bought two and started using them the day they arrived. I tried them first on some screws of known sizes to best determine how the calibrations work, and you may want to do the same. These are simple and have no batteries or moving parts, they are made in the USA, and they are dead nuts accurate. Highly recommended.
