Be sure to drill the proper size pilot hole into “tough” woods.
Thanks Fred. These bolts are C1008 grade steel and are rated to minimum of 20 lb-ft of torque. We have tested them and easily applied 30 lb-ft of torque. But yes, you should test first and use caution when going into hard woods such as white oak.
